The gastronomy of Andalusia plays the increasing role in the sphere of tourism of this region. Every year 650.000 tourists visit Andalusia to take pleasure in its cookery. At the same time, in the region accurate positioning of this tourist product, as, for example, the sun beaches and golf for Costa del Sol is not defined yet.

It reminded that more than five million foreign tourists visited Spain for the sake of its kitchen last year, and that 10 million Spanish tourists travel on the country for the sake of tasting of dishes of various regions.
With a view of increase in number of tourists, which come to Andalusia to take pleasure in its gastronomy, the government of the region carries out various projects in this sector by means of such initiatives, as "Paisajes con Sabor".
Though in the region already there are routes, such as "Ruta de Atun" (about which "our Spain" wrote in the photoblog), "Ruta de Jamon" and "Ruta de Jerez", "is necessary to increase quantity of gastronomic routes as the gastronomy is one of elements which characterizes us", he added Raphael Rodriguez.
