will decrease for 15 % in Spain The minister of the industry, power and tourism of Spain, Jose Manuel Sory (Jose Manuel Soria), declared that now EU sanctions entered because of the conflict in the Crimea did not affect issue of visas to the Russian citizens, wishing to visit Spain. At the same time, to the sanction I can become one of the reasons of decrease in exit tourism of Russia. It is expected that this year the number of the Russian tourists who have left in other countries, can decrease for 15-20 %.
Last Monday, the secretary of the World tourism organization of Taleb Rifai (Taleb Rifai), already warned about negative consequences of possible restriction of issue of visas to Russians which was discussed by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European union as the answer to the Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
"I want to note that the sanctions of EU entered as a result of the conflict in the Crimea, did not affect issue of visas for Russians who want to visit Spain", emphasized Sory.
Moreover, according to "Turespana" statistics, growth of number of the Russian tourists in the first two months 2014 was slowed down and made 10,9 %.
