The next year, the world’s largest cruising Allure of the Seas liner ("Charm of the seas") will create Palm tree de Mayorke’s essential economic effect where it will be moored 22 times during the whole season.
For the first time, in 2015, this ship, 361 meters at length with 6300 passengers onboard, will carry out cruises across the Mediterranean Sea. Now it plies only in the Caribbean Sea from the port of registry in Mayami.
As the director general of Royal Caribbean in Spain and France noted, Belen Wanguemert that 139.000 passengers of the liner, within a year will visit Palm tree de Mayorku and will spend in the city more than 8 million euros. To it it is necessary to add still half a million euro which are left on the island by vessel crew.
"Palm tree de Mayorki’s choice as port of call for the largest cruising liner in the world, is recognition of our investments and efforts in advance of Balearic Islands", told the president Balearsky sharp Alberto Pons (Alberto Pons.).
The first calling of "Allure of the Seas" in the Palm tree is planned for May, 2015.
