The cabinet of Spain gave final green light for carrying out IPO of management company of the Spanish airports AENA (Aeropuertos Espanoles y Navegacion Aerea). Placement of 28 % of shares of the company is planned for February 11 at the exchange. Earlier, in October of last year, 21 % of actions were distributed among the main shareholders.
In total, 49 % of the state company will be privatized. The government of Spain will have AENA controlling stake.
"AENA remains the public company with professional civil servants. Presence of investors will promote strengthening of company management and growth of quality of service of the Spanish airports", declared on this occasion, the minister of development, Ana Pastor (Ana Pastor).
