In total, 42.685 Spaniards left the country during the first half of 2014. From them 27.026 were Spaniards by origin, and the others 15.658 were born abroad, but subsequently obtained the Spanish nationality.
Such figures were published today by National institute of statistics (INE) which confirm growth of emigration of indigenous people from Spain for 15,5 %. In 2012 when the population of the country started to be reduced in connection with crisis and lack of the workplaces, almost all those who left the country, were immigrants. But, according to all available data from the statistics, six of each 10 Spaniards who will emigrate from the country, were born in Spain.
The main countries where Spaniards will emigrate it is Great Britain, France and Ecuador.
The institute of statistics notes that the population of Spain continues to decrease. In the first half of this year the population decreased by 48.146 people and as of July 1 made 46.464.053 people. Number of foreigners, decreased to 538.503 people or for 3 %.
