Last month in the Spanish hotels tourists reserved and carried out in numbers of 42 million nights. These results for 3,5 % are higher, than the general indicators in August, 2012. Such data were published today by National institute of statistics (NIS).
In August the number of spending the night increased both among residents by 3 %, and among foreign tourists for 3,8 %. Average duration of stay grew by 1,3 % in comparison with August, 2012 and made 3,9 nights on each tourist.
In August average fillability of hotels made 72,2 %, with annual growth of 2,7 %, in?? that time as level of filling of hotels in the days off grew by 0,6 % and made 72,9 %.
Hotels on Balearic Islands showed the highest level of fillability in 92 %, from 79,7 % and the Canary Islands of 79,2 % further follow Catalonia. The prices of hotels for this period showed growth of 0,7 %.
As to indicators of profitability of hotel sector, the day revenue from each number made 85,6 euros in August that for 1,8 % it is more in comparison with similar month 2012. The average income counting on number made 62,1 euros.
